It may also happen that several contents from the third parties are linked with our website, e.g. YouTube videos, Google-Maps or graphics from the other websites. This requires always, that providers of this content utilize the IP-address of the user. Because the IP-address is required to link the context to the browser of the user. So that the IP-address is needed for presentation of the content from the website. As operator of the website we have a legitimate interest in the technically error free depiction and the optimization of our website. However, we cannot influence whether the owner of these websites save log files and your IP address, e.g. for statistical purposes.

Social Media Buttons (Sharing-Buttons)

All articles on our website can be shared quickly and easily with social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or WhatsApp (on mobile devices) by means of the so-called Social Media Buttons. We use the Shariff solution for this purpose as a suitable option for secure utilization of these services. The result of the deployment of social plugins by default is that the information about visitors to the website will be transmitted immediately to the respective social network; the IP-address of your activities on the website will be recorded. It will be the case, even if you don’t click on the button or you are logged in with a user account in the respective social network. The deployed Shariff solution enables the establishment of a connection between your browser and the server of the respective social network only when you click on the respective Share-Buttons (“Sharing-Buttons”) of the social network (acc. to Article 6, Section 1a of GDPR). If you don’t want the social network to track your privacy data while using the online service, it is recommended not to press the sharing button. If you are logged into the social network, you can also associate the information with your user account directly after activation of the Social Media Button. The utilization of the Shariff-Method allows your data privacy so far as it is possible in the parameters of the current available technology.
