MEYTEC GmbH Medizinsysteme was once again a supporter of the European Stroke Organisation Conference (ESOC 2025) in Helsinki. The conference, which took place from 21th to 23th of May, 2025, is the leading European forum for research and clinical care in cerebrovascular diseases. With 4,200 participants from 96 countries and 48 industry exhibitors, ESOC provided a unique platform for professional exchange.

MEYTEC presented their latest developments in telemedicine and provided insights into the country-specific telestroke networks in Germany, that enable fast and efficient stroke care. Another topic was the strategic partnership for the future of neurodiagnostics. MEYTEC recently announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate with New Zealand-based medical equipment manufacturer Wellumio.

Wellumio is developing an innovative portable compact head MRI device (Axana®) for stroke diagnostics. MEYTEC is developing a readily available real-time telemedicine system for video and DICOM image transmission. The goal is to combine both systems into an innovative and complete solution for high-quality teleneurological stroke treatment, to improve upon established models and to integrate it into future telemedicine platforms. Going forward, mobile stroke units and hospital emergency rooms could be equipped with compact MRI devices harnessed and enhanced with innovative telemedicine systems.

MEYTEC would like to thank all colleagues, partners, and interested parties for the inspiring a productive dialogue to be continued at future meetings.

Please come and visit us at the 1st German Stroke Congress in Berlin in September!
