The 1st German Stroke Congress (DSG25) of the German Stroke Society has generated a significant interest within the medical community. From 4th to 6th of September, over 1,000 representatives from a wide range of professions and disciplines involved in stroke care from across Germany came to Berlin to exchange ideas in an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary setting. Everyone from paramedics to neurologists, neurosurgeons and neuroradiologists, as well as specialist nurses and therapists, came together at the congress to discuss current care needs.
MEYTEC was one of at least 33 companies which were presented at the DSG25 with their own booth. MEYTEC’s presentation focused on the vision for the future of pre-hospital acute stroke diagnostics. According to this vision, the motto ‘Time is Brain’ will continue to play a decisive role in the treatment of acute strokes in the foreseeable future. Implementing the newest medical diagnostic procedures, and combining them with cost-effective imaging technologies where possible, will save valuable time through early intervention. This intervention time is key factor in preventing irreversible damage with far-reaching consequences.
