– Werneuchen, 31th of July 2025 –
Together with Mayor Astrid Hildebrand and the Managing Director of the Barnim Economic and Tourism Development Agency (WITO), District Chief Executive Daniel Kurth visited three companies in the municipality of Werneuchen. Topics discussed included increasing local value creation through innovation and its impact on regional employment.
MEYTEC GmbH presented itself as a long-standing local economic player that focuses on modern telemedicine technologies, quality, skilled workers and collaboration with local institutions. The company’s management gave a presentation on current developments and the advantages of the location, and organised a tour of the production facility. District Administrator Kurth summed up his impressions with the following appreciative words: “MEYTEC impressively demonstrates how a family business can combine vision, technology and social needs.”
The visit highlights the municipality’s commitment to supporting local businesses and strengthening Barnim’s economy in the long term.
