At this year’s DMEA, Europe’s central meeting place for digital health, MEYTEC JENA presented a new vision “The hospital of the future is at home” at the joint Thuringian stand. At the heart of this vision is the question of how future healthcare can be designed to be lifelong, personal and of greater benefit to each individual person, but also to the healthcare system as a whole. The concept of considering the center of life as an essential place for future healthcare and focusing on the needs of the individual and their relatives was met with great interest by the visitors.
The monitoring of relevant dynamic vital data enables the timely detection of a changing health status in order to take preventive countermeasures or avoid acute events by involving the necessary care levels. MEYTEC JENA offers the technologies, innovative digital medical products and care solutions that can be used for this purpose, which are continuously being developed further.
In order to pool ideas for implementing this approach, MEYTEC JENA is planning to set up an interdisciplinary focus group together with other interested parties from politics, science, industry and users/service providers as well as private individuals. The lively interest and stimulating discussions at the trade fair indicate a positive response and the potential for possible cooperation.
MEYTEC JENA would like to thank all visitors, partners and interested parties who contributed to this successful trade fair appearance. If you would also like to become part of this vision and are interested in working with MEYTEC JENA, simply let us know in the appropriate form.
