PCS-Care – Interprofessional teleconsultation for patients with post-COVID syndromes

pcs-care-logo

Long and post-COVID is a complex of symptoms with a long-lasting and heterogeneous epidemiology. Patients often report severe limitations in everyday family and professional life. The Institute of General Practice, together with other project partners, has been running the PCS-Care pilot project in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania since the end of 2022. The aim of the project is to improve the care of patients with post-COVID syndrome through optimized networking and cooperation between general practitioners and rehabilitation physicians. Diagnostic and therapeutic decisions can be made jointly by GPs and rehabilitation doctors via an inter-professional teleconsultation service. As technical project partner, MEYTEC contributes its expertise in the fields of telemedicine and telecommunications.
